Decode Project is hosting Spelling + Spirits, an adult spelling bee and fundraiser. Whether you are a speller, sipper, spender, or spectator (or any combination), join us on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 7p.m. at The Biscuit Lounge for this literary-inspired annual fundraising event. Brush up on your encoding skills, sign up for the optional spelling bee, and bid on our silent auction baskets. Tickets are limited, so get yours today!

All proceeds support our mission of eliminating inequities in education by fostering a diverse community of learners prepared to navigate the world. Decode Project teaches kids to read, and we can’t do it without the generosity of Y-O-U, the community, and all our faithful champions.

Doors open at 7 p.m. You can sign up on site by 7:30 p.m. to participate in the bee. Spelling begins at 7:30 p.m. and is limited to 25 participants. We had a full roster last year, so don't miss out on your chance to compete.

Delicious bites, sponsored in part by The Vision Group (TVG), are included with your ticket, and drinks will be available for purchase. While this is a family-friendly event, the spelling competition is adults only.
