Our mission is to educate and connect the Black community with stroke prevention resources, and to create a safe community of support while addressing the unique challenges faced by Black stroke survivors, their families and caregivers.
Programs and Services:
Survivors Supporting Survivors: This program offers monthly virtual and in-person support group sessions for Black stroke survivors
BEATS: Stroke Prevention through workshops, health fairs, church presentations, and digital campaigns.
Meet & Greet: Offers stroke survivors and caregivers a chance to connect in person for education, networking, and encouragement
Courageous Coaching Circle: Led by Dr. Christine Cosby-Gaither, the Courageous Coaching Circle is a 6-week program designed to help stroke survivors—and anyone who’s overcome a traumatic event
Peer Support Network: One-on-One Survivor & Caregiver Connection Program
