Drops of Kindness is a centralized assistance program for residential and business customers of Louisville Water and Louisville MSD. It is designed to help those facing financial hardship, whether from job loss, medical emergencies, or fixed incomes, avoid service disconnection through a mix of long-term discounts, one-time grants, and flexible payment scheduling. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ How to Apply for Assistance:

The "Drops of Kindness" program is a gateway to several different forms of relief. Choose the path that matches your current situation:

1. If you need more time to pay (Payment Plan)

◈ Method: Apply online through the Louisville Water Pure Connect℠ portal or call Customer Service.

◈ Requirement: You must have your 10-digit account number and have received at least two billing statements.

Note: You cannot be enrolled in "Auto Pay" while on a manual payment arrangement. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 2. If you need a monthly discount (MSD EWRAP or Senior Discount)

◈ Method: Apply online at LouisvilleMSD.org/EWRAP or LouisvilleMSD.org/Senior.

◈ Combined Appointment: During winter months (Jan–March), you can apply for these discounts at the same time as LIHEAP (heating assistance) by calling the automated scheduler at 502-991-8391.

◈ Paperwork: You will need proof of income for all household members and a copy of your most recent water bill. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 3. If you are facing an immediate shut-off (Emergency Financial Aid)

◈ Method: You must contact a Community Ministry or a Neighborhood Place location directly.

◈ How to find yours: Visit LouisvilleMinistries.org and enter your zip code to find the specific agency assigned to your neighborhood.

◈ Preparation: Have your ID and your latest "Disconnect Notice" ready. These agencies provide "pledges" that notify the water company to stop a shut-off while payment is processed. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 4. If you have already been disconnected

◈ Method: Do not use the website. Call a Customer Care representative immediately at 502-583-6610 (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to discuss emergency restoration.
