A trauma-informed, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), focusing on adolescents and adults who have in the past, or are currently experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, or serious and persistent mental illness. She also has a certificate in substance abuse counseling and works with clients who are struggling with substance use disorder. Amanda uses a variety of therapies such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and expressive therapies (art, writing, and play) to help clients find relief and reach their identified mental health goals. She works to tailor her therapy to a client's needs and strengths. Amanda works under the clinical supervision of Alaina Newman, LPCC-S.
